The Bhawanipur Education Society College held its first ever orientation Programme on on Model united Nations on the 1st July,2015, an educational simulation in which students learn about diplomacy, international relations, parliamentary proceedings, enhance their ability to research and develop the art of public speaking.

The Guest Speaker, Miss Jinal Dadia, a former student of the La Martiniere, who graduated from the National Law School University of India, Bangalore and will now be persuing her Masters in Law from the Oxford university, very elegantly introduced the idea of model United Nations to a group of fifty students who attended the orientation.
Miss Jinal Dadia emphatically threw light on the various committees of the United Nations, the code of conduct expected of a delegate within committee and made a commendable effort in inculcating the art of Research among students.
An hour long orientation programme, where the students paid close attention to every word spoken was suggestive of the profound impact the orientation had upon them. The college placed on account a vote of thanks by furnishing the Guest Speaker with a commemorative as a humble mark of gratitude.
This was followed by an intense discussion on the Jammu and Kashmir issue where the students passionately participated and came up with extremely viable solutions to the disputes there. The entire course of discussion was held under the guidance of Miss Jinal Dadia who made sure that students get used to the formal ways of delegating.
This turned out to be a very successful event with the primary motive of encouraging students to participate in such prestigious event, clearly being lived up to. It was a very substantial step taken forward by the college for a better tomorrow and making the world a better place to live in.
