The semester 6 students from the Department of Mathematics, Physics, and Electronics of BES College jointly organized the Fresher’s welcome Programme “Nouveau Fiesta” on 2nd April 2022 to welcome semester 2 and 4 students from the Department of Mathematics, Physics, and Electronics.
The program started with the inaugural speech by Prof. Dilip Shah, Dean of Students affairs of the college followed by Dr. Pinki Saha Sardar, Vice-principal, Science and Administration. After the inaugural speeches there was a welcome dance performance.
The program was anchored by the semester 6 students from Mathematics and Physics departments. Throughout the event all the semester students showcased their various talents. There were singing, instrumental and dance performances from the semester 6 students for their juniors. Then there was the talent showcase from the students of semester 2 and 4. There was a ramp walk, singing and various dance performances and poetry recitations followed by shayari. After the splendid talent showcase six participants were shortlisted for the Mr. and Miss. Freshers. The shortlisted participants had to go through a fun interview where they were asked different types of questions in order to become Mr. and Miss. Fresher. Mr. Pujan Pradhan from the Physics department and Miss. Aatikah Khan from the Mathematics department was chosen as Mr. and Miss Freshers, respectively. The event was concluded by an open dance for everybody to enjoy. Refreshments were served after the program.
The significance of placements for young, upcoming graduates cannot be overstated, as it plays a pivotal role in refining their professional courses. On December 18, 2023, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, The Bhawanipur Education Society College scheduled a placement drive on their campus, becoming a conduit for promising futures.
