Speaker Details Our invited speaker is Prof. Vishal Goyal. He is currently placed as Professor in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engg. at GLA University, Mathura and an Associate Director Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at GLA University, Mathura. He completed his PhD in 2016. He also has published numerous research articles in well-known journals. He is engaged as a member in some high-profile organizations such as IEEE, Science Congress, ICEIT, IACSIT, and many more. Under his guidance, many students are pursuing their PhD and M.Tech thesis. Apart from this, he is also having industrial experience.
Session Details The web talk was conducted to inspire audiences for gathering knowledge on current trends in the Computer Science field. Participants registered for this event via Google Form link. On successful completion of the registration process, they were communicated with joining details for the online session through the registered email-id. This web-talk was being delivered by an eminent speaker Prof. Vishal Goyal, GLA University. He is an expert on topics such as Deep Learning and Computational Intelligence. This one-day web talk was conducted on 19.10.2020 from 2 to 4 PM. The entire session was being conducted over Google Meet Video Conferencing. An introductory speech and welcome note was delivered by Mrs. Runa Ganguli, Faculty of Computer Science Department. This online session was open for all participants. The students gathered proficiency in recently trending topics such as Deep Learning and related concepts which are not generally included in their syllabus. However, other participants such as faculties, researchers also enriched themselves by this session. An interactive question-answer session was also conducted for clearing doubts on this topic. Total 73 participants attended this web-talk. At last, Mr. Sanjib Halder, Associate Professor, Computer Science Department, gave an appreciation speech regarding this event. Finally the session was closed by Ms. Shawni Dutta, Convener of the event with a vote of thanks. The participants were acknowledged by providing participants certificates through email. The speaker was also provided with an appreciation certificate.
