The Lecture was conducted by The Birla Industrial & Technological Museum. This online seminar was testament to the number of students that have shown keen interest in topics of science. Professor Kumble made sure that everything he explained would be strictly from an astrobiology point of view and not from hypothetical possibilities.
Prof. Rajesh Nayak took the viewers through a journey of the brief history of alien life search.
He discussed about the realistic possibility of life as per the model of our Universe, the habitable zones in our solar system, the origin of life right here on Earth and how it was also an extra-terrestrial accident, the core excitement was about the current research and studies going on especially the SETI project coordinated from a huge radio telescope in Berkeley at the University of California.
The video ended up having over 1000 views on YouTube.
At the end of the webinar, question and answer round was prepared, were multiple questions that poured in were answered but due to time constraints all of them could not be discussed the webinar was brief yet extremely informative.
