What do we do first after waking up in the morning? We “Read” the newspapers but do we really read it effectively? Most of us don’t. A Session was thus organized, to help us make the best use of the newspaper, as they are more informative than the internet.
The session was conducted by Ms. Shrishti Jain, (Director, Reading Right.) on 22nd November, 2014, at the 6th floor Auditorium from 10:30 AM – 12:00 Noon.
During the session, the moderator helped us observe the finer details of an article of a newspaper which though important are not focused by us, as either we are in a hurry or we just tend to put just enough concentration on the headlines. These finer details get the essence of the article and help our knowledge and also help in improving our vocabulary.
The seminar was highly appreciated by the students who would certainly make the best use of their newspapers after the seminar was done.
