The Department of Commerce (Morning) section of The Bhawanipur College along with PROMPT – world leader in writing education organised a webinar on “Level Up Your Business Writing Skills”.
The speakers for the event were Dr. Hory Sankar Mukherjee (Author, Principal: Education, Training & Assessment-Infosys Ltd.) along with Mr. Bhushan Trivedi. The event was moderated by our faculty Prof. Urvi Shukla. The Dean of Student Affairs Prof. Dilip Shah introduced the speakers and gave few examples about common communication errors we make, along with Prof. Minakshi Chaturvedi gave her valuable thoughts on the topic.
Writing Skills being one of the most important skill as we unlock the world’s potential and collectively build the future. Most companies view writing skills as a great achievement in their organization. “Clear writing reflects Clear Thinking”. The students gained dozens of field-tested strategies to present ideas clearly and persuasively… and much, much more as it was a very interactive and energetic session and the students actively participated.
The speakers gave multiple real-life examples related to communication skills and writing skills which were extremely beneficial. Both the speakers interacted in real time portraying their communication skills along with the moderate. It was full-filled experiential learning.
We are planning to incorporate the program on writing skills in our college course as it will be of great benefit.
The Be-ites organised a platform for the debaters to professionally argue with their relatable points on the topic, ‘IS KOLKATA RELEVANT?’ On 20th January 2021 at 12 noon on zoom meetings. Around 14 debaters were present in the event. The event commenced with remarks from Prof. Dilip Shah. The debate was Judged by city’s well-known …
