The Bhawanipur Education Society College organised The Lehman Effect, a seminar on the 2008 Global Financial Crisis, on 29th July 2026 at Jubilee Hall. Held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, the session witnessed the enthusiastic participation of nearly 150 students, bringing together those interested in finance, economics, and global markets.

The seminar featured CA Purnima Daftari, a finance professional, educator, and orator, as the keynote speaker.
