On 19th April 2022, the Department of Education and the Department of Political Science jointly organized a students’ seminar on “Implementation of National Education Policy, 2020 to transform Higher Education in India”. At the very outset, Professor Amala Dhandhania unfolded the program by felicitating respected Teacher-In-Charge, Dr Subhabrata Ganguly and Professor Debjani Ganguly, Vice Principal (Arts).
Since it was a student centric event, the student anchor’s namely, Puja Ghosh and Arik Mallick successfully coordinated by inviting eight paper presenters across different disciplines of the Arts Department. The details and sequence of paper presenters are as follows:

The Status of Implementation of NEP 2020
It is quintessential to mention that paper presenters were quite eloquent and question answer session drew a fruitful and healthy discussion towards implementation of the policy in reforming higher education. To recognize the untiring efforts of the paper presenters, certificates and a token of appreciation was also handed over to them by Professor Amala Dhandhania and Dr Rekha Nariwal. The seminar was finally concluded by a formal vote of thanks by Dr Rekha Nariwal who thanked the Management, Faculty members and the Technical Support team of the college for ensuring a hassle-free flow of events. Finally, she congratulated the paper presenters who were an integral part of the seminar and wished them all success in life.
In course of the seminar, the Department of Political Science also availed the opportunity of announcing the results and distributing prizes of the Essay Competition held on 14th March 2022. Two eminent faculties of the college who acted as judges namely, Dr Rekha Nariwal and Professor Priti Shah were felicitated by Professor Amala Dhandhania. Dr Nariwal and Professor Shah shared their viewpoints on the importance of nurturing one’s creative potential and on the need towards enhancing writing skills. The students who secured positions were recognized and their names are as follows:
