The Bhawanipur Education Society College organized a workshop on Digital Arts on March 16, 2023, in the Society Hall. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Siddharth Jaiswal, Mr. Ajay Kumar Shaw, and Mr. Kumar Anupam Chandra representing MAAC. Digital Arts encompasses all digital works like animation, graphic designing, 3D virtual sculpture renderings, and VFX.
The workshop commenced with a welcome speech by the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Dilip Shah who thereafter felicitated Team MAAC with a memento. The first speaker, Mr. Siddharth Jaiswal, the Academic Head of MAAC and a Guru having 17 years of experience in Animation interacted with the audience by putting up a video that was based on graphic designing. He taught the students how to create an animated picture and explained how pictures with a green screen can be modified. He showed the students the steps to modify the graphics of a picture as seen in some leading works of Digital Art in Hollywood movies.
With a crowd of 80 students eager to learn more about Digital Arts as a career, the next speaker Mr. Ajay Kumar Shaw, the Center Academic Head at MAAC, showed three videos related to animation. He taught the students the steps to apply linear animation and took a figure to show how to make a static figure move. Though a time-consuming process, he explained how time is the backbone of VFX and animation.
The third speaker, Mr. Kumar Anupam Chandra, a professional 3D artist with 14 years of experience in training and production explained the importance of Digital Arts and how it can act as a lucrative profession. A note of thanks was delivered by the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Dilip Shah. The workshop was very informative, and students requested a full-day workshop for hands-on learning in Digital Arts. The event was a huge success, and it was a great initiative taken by the college to educate the students about career options that are beyond the ordinary.
