Objective of the event:
To introduce and engage the incoming students about the upcoming skills like AI and content writing for their personal development and knowledge enhancement.
Brief description of the event:
The Department of Business Administration at The Bhawanipur Education Society College conducted a seminar for the first semester undergraduate students on the 29th of August, 2026. The programme helped the students to learn and get familiar with the upcoming advanced skills for their bright future.
Outcome of the event:
The students were familiarised with the fundamentals of content writing and its diverse types. The session also highlighted how AI plays a significant role in the field and introduces various career opportunities and skills required to build a successful career in the content industry.
The Department of Business Administration at The Bhawanipur Education Society College successfully organised a seminar on Content Writing and AI on 29th August 2026. The programme commenced at 10:00 a.m. and offered students insights into Content Writing, AI and career opportunities in the field.
The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the respected dignitaries, symbolising an auspicious beginning and the pursuit of knowledge.
The programme continued with a warm welcome address by the Rector and Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Dilip Shah, who shared inspiring examples of Albert Einstein along with the use of AI and concerns that arise with its excessive use in today’s world.
The session continued with the introduction of Ms Suchetana Das, a Jr. Content Editor at Content Whale, who shared insights about the Content Writing industry, its formats such as blogs, articles, social media posts, and so on. She emphasised that good content should be informative, engaging and persuasive. The session further explored freelance and in-house opportunities, along with professionalism, client relationships and maintaining transparency. Her session highlighted a major point, quoting, “AI is not your replacement. It is your instrument.”
The discussion moved towards AI and the future of content careers by Ms Esha Agarwal. She emphasised on the importance of prompt quality, along with ways to improve prompt writing. She highlighted the various platforms students can use to get hired such as Internshala, Upwork and LinkedIn. She focused on the major point by reinforcing that, “AI can write. It cannot be human. That part’s still yours.”
Finally, the seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by the Course Coordinator, Dr. Tridib Sengupta, expressing sincere gratitude to the speakers and everyone who contributed to making this session enthusiastic, successful, informative and engaging.
