The Bhawanipur Education Society College hosted an interactive session by FLAME University on 28th July 2026 at the Society Hall. Held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the 90-minute session witnessed the participation of around 70 students. The programme aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of branding and create awareness about the role that branding plays in shaping successful businesses.

The session was conducted by Mr. Sandeep Roy, Associate Professor of Advertising and Branding at FLAME University. Drawing from his academic and industry experience, he spoke about the meaning of a brand and how it goes far beyond a logo or a product. He explained that a strong brand is built on identity, consistency, trust, and the ability to connect with its audience.

Throughout the session, Mr. Roy highlighted the key aspects that should be considered while creating or designing a brand. He discussed the importance of understanding the target audience, maintaining a clear brand identity, and ensuring consistency in communication and presentation. Students were encouraged to think critically about how successful brands establish a lasting impression in the minds of consumers.

To make the discussion more relatable, Mr. Roy referred to several Indian brands that have earned international recognition, explaining the strategies and qualities that contributed to their success. These examples helped students understand how effective branding can transform a business into a globally recognised name while retaining its unique identity.

The interactive nature of the session encouraged students to ask questions and share their own observations about branding and marketing. The discussion provided practical insights into an area that is becoming increasingly important across industries, particularly for students interested in management, entrepreneurship, and creative fields.

The session concluded with students gaining a better understanding of the principles of branding and the thought process behind building successful brands. Overall, it proved to be an engaging and informative experience that encouraged participants to view branding from both a creative and strategic perspective.
