आजादी के अमृत महोत्सव की शृंखला में हिन्दी विभाग की ओर से 18.4.2022 को एक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया जिसका विषय था ‘आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव हिन्दी राष्ट्रीय कवियों के परिप्रेक्ष्य में’ । कार्यक्रम का आरंभ एजुकेशन विभाग की वरिष्ठ प्राध्यापिका डॉ. रेखा नारीवाल के सुमधुर गणेश वंदना से हुआ । गणेश वंदना के पश्चात विभाग की वरिष्ठ प्राध्यापिका डॉ. कविता मेहरोत्रा ने अथितियों का स्वागत करते हुए हिन्दी राष्ट्रीय कविता की अमूल्य धरोहर को दर्शकों के सम्मुख रेखांकित किया । विभिन्न विभाग के विद्यार्थियों ने इस कार्यक्रम में अपनी सक्रिय भागेदारी निभाई । सर्वप्रथम बीनीत ठक्कर ने हिन्दी की लोकप्रिय कवयित्री सुभद्रा कुमारी चौहान की प्रसिद्ध कविता ‘झांसी की रानी’ का सुन्दर पाठ करके दर्शकों का मन मोह लिया । सुभद्रा कुमारी चौहान न केवल कवयित्री है बल्कि स्वतंत्रता सेनानी भी हैं । आजादी से पूर्व की एक और नृशंस और भयानक घटना थी जलियाँवाला बाग हत्याकांड , जहां निरीह और लाचार लोगों पर गोलियां चलाई गई थी इसी विषय पर सुभद्रा कुमारी चौहान की एक और मार्मिक रचना ‘जलियाँवाला बाग में बसंत ‘का पाठ कृपा सहल ने किया । राष्ट्रीयता की बात हो और छायावादी कवियों का नाम न आए यह तो हो ही नहीं सकता । अंग्रेजी विभाग की छात्रा प्रतीक्षा सरकार ने जयशंकर प्रसाद की एक महत्वपूर्ण कविता ‘हिमाद्रि तुंग शृंग से’ का सुन्दर वाचन किया । अंग्रेजी विभाग के ही एक और विद्यार्थी प्रांतीक दीर्घांगी ने निराला की कविता ‘वर दे वीणावादिनी वर दे’ सुनाकर सभी को भावविभोर कर दिया । शहीदों का ऐसा अनूठा सम्मान शायद कम ही कवियों ने किया होगा जैसा कि हमें माखनलाल चतुर्वेदी की प्रसिद्ध कविता ‘पुष्प की अभिलाषा’ में मिलता है । इस सुन्दर कविता का पाठ अलीफिया हाजी ने किया । तत्पश्चात हिन्दी के प्रखर कवि रामधारीसिंह दिनकर की कविता ‘कलम आज उनकी जय बोल’ का सुन्दर पाठ रोहित दुबे ने किया । अंत में फातिमा बर्तनवाला ने नीरज की कविता ‘धरा को उठाओ गगन को झुकाओ ‘का पाठ किया । विभाग की प्राध्यापिका डॉ. आभा झा ने धन्यवाद देते हुए सभी का आभार व्यक्त किया ।
