Objective of the Activity:
To celebrate Children’s Day by providing underprivileged children with a joyful, engaging, and educational experience that promotes learning, social interaction, confidence-building, and emotional well-being. The programme also aimed to foster empathy, leadership, and community engagement among student volunteers.
Brief Description of the Activity:
The Bhawanipur Education Society College organised a special Children’s Day celebration titled “Ray of Hope 2025” on 15th November 2025. The programme welcomed 100 children from Ankur Siksha Sadan and Panch Darshiya Vidyalaya, along with 44 student volunteers from the college.
Upon arrival, the children were warmly received and provided with specially designed Bhawanipur currencies, which they used throughout the event. This unique concept encouraged decision-making and active participation while creating an enjoyable learning experience. Various stalls and activity counters were set up, offering clothes, stationery items, toys, games, and food in exchange for the currencies. The event also featured colouring activities, interactive sessions, fun games, and cultural performances by both the children and college students. The vibrant atmosphere fostered creativity, enthusiasm, and meaningful interaction, making the celebration memorable for all participants.
Outcome of the Activity:
The programme successfully brought joy and encouragement to the participating children by providing them with a fun-filled and enriching experience. The innovative currency-based activities enhanced their decision-making skills and engagement. The event also strengthened social bonds, boosted confidence among the children, and promoted a spirit of compassion and social responsibility among the student volunteers. Overall, “Ray of Hope 2025” achieved its objective of spreading happiness, hope, and meaningful learning through community outreach.
