The Bhawanipur College underwent a thorough evaluation by a team of three experts from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)—Dr. HPS Chauhan, Dr. Debal Dasgupta, and Dr. Snehal Donde—visited the institution. This peer team was tasked with the responsibility of auditing the college’s standards and performance on behalf of NAAC.
During their comprehensive two-day visit, the peer team meticulously inspected the college’s physical infrastructure. This included an assessment of the classrooms, laboratories, library, and other facilities to ensure they met the required educational standards. Their agenda also encompassed a series of meetings with a diverse range of stakeholders associated with the college. They interacted with students to gauge their educational experience and satisfaction with the learning environment. Conversations with faculty members provided insights into the academic rigor and the support provided for teaching and research activities.
The team also met with non-teaching staff members to understand the operational effectiveness of the college. Parents were consulted to discuss their perspectives on the institution’s impact on their children’s development. The alumni offered reflections on the long-term value of their education at Bhawanipur College. Finally, the management’s vision, leadership, and governance were reviewed through meetings with the college’s administrative bodies.
The visit by the NAAC peer team was a crucial step in the accreditation process, aimed at ensuring that the educational standards and practices at Bhawanipur College align with the expectations of quality and excellence set forth by the council.
