The Bhawanipur Education Society College organized a “Ethnic Day with Sunglasses” on the 19th of October, 2023 to bring out the diversity in ethnicity of one’s own culture. The theme of the event was “ethnic wear with sunglasses “, to bring out the desi version of you but in style. The event took place on the College Turf which started at 10:00 am in the morning.
Over 150 people all dressed in beautiful attire gathered around the Turf along with the faculty of the college who also decided to match the theme along with the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Dilip Shah. The event began with one of the faculty members, Prof. Nitin Chaturvedi who sang a beautiful song while playing the guitar with the crowd humming to music. Next in line, students decided to play garba to celebrate the festivities of Navratri. Everyone danced and enjoyed themselves, and the day ended with laughter and joy as memories minted in the heart. Prof. Shah exchanged his good wishes with everyone as bid the students a happy vacation to celebrate the famous festival of Kolkata, Durga Puja.
