The Bhawanipur Educational Society College organized an event ‘Puchte Ho ki Ghalib kaun hai?’ in association with Bharatiya Bhasa Parishad which took place on April 26, 2022, at the College Library from 10:30 am onwards. There were over 50+ students who came to be a part of the event.
The event started with a ghazal “ki poochte ho ki tu kya hai” by Vasundhara mam. After that Dean of student affairs, Prof. Dilip Shah said a few words and Fazal introduces the event to one and all present there. The main speaker of the event was Mr.Palash Chaturvedi along with the teacher and student coordinator being Vasundhara mam , Namrata Chowdhury and Fazal Karim respectively.
Mr .Palash Chaturvedi spoke about Ghalib’s life and philosophy and how he suffered all his life reflecting on his shayeris. Everyone was very keen and were listening very interestingly to what Palash Chaturvedi was saying.
The next speaker was Namrata Chowdhury , she recited a shayeri and then explained the meaning that how everything is temporary and fleeting.
After they were done speaking students started to say few words about Ghalib , recited shayeris also sang ghazals. It was a wonderful session with Palash Chaturvedi on Mirza Ghalib. Everyone loved it, hence looking forward to more such events.
