Objective of the event:
The objective of a written academic quiz is to create a stimulating and educational experience that tests participant’s knowledge, promotes learning, fosters critical thinking, and cultivates a passion for academic pursuits.

Brief description of the event:
The Department of Political Science conducted a written academic quiz for the Semester II Political Science Honours students on 15th July, 2026. The  questions which were given to them were based on their syllabus. The proceedings of the quiz were conducted by Prof. Trisha Chatterjee, Assistant Professor  and Anushka Banerjee, Faculty from the Department of Political Science. They explained the parameters of the quiz on which the students  would be judged and awarded scores.

Rishika Chowdhury scored the higest and was declared the Winner of the Academic Quiz.

Outcome of the event:
The  students’ responses were  quite positive and they showed keen interest  and enthusiastically  participated in the event.
