Objective of the Activity:
The objective of the programme was to provide support to underprivileged children by donating benches and furniture to enhance their learning environment and ensure access to comfortable seating facilities.

Brief Description of the Activity:
The NSS Unit of The Bhawanipur Education Society College organized an outreach programme titled “Seats of Hope” on 16th July 2025 at Save The Children, Thakurpukur. The initiative focused on improving the educational infrastructure available to children by donating approximately 250 benches and pieces of furniture. Two NSS student volunteers participated in the activity and assisted in the delivery and arrangement of the donated items. The programme was undertaken with the aim of supporting the educational needs of the children and creating a more conducive atmosphere for learning.

Outcome of the Activity:
The activity successfully benefited around 200 children by providing them with improved seating and furniture facilities. The donation contributed significantly to enhancing the learning environment at Save The Children, Thakurpukur. The programme also reinforced the values of social responsibility, community service, and humanitarian engagement among the participating NSS volunteers.
