Brief Description of the Activity:
The NSS Unit of The Bhawanipur Education Society College organized an awareness programme titled “Health Habits Start Young” at Ankur Shiksha Sadan on 15 May 2026. The session focused on promoting personal hygiene, healthy routines, safety measures, discipline, and good behaviour among young students. NSS volunteers interacted closely with the children and explained the importance of maintaining cleanliness, washing hands regularly, consuming nutritious food, and respecting others in daily life. To make the programme engaging and easy to understand, educational videos and visual demonstrations were used to illustrate various aspects of hygiene and healthy living. The students actively participated in discussions, answered questions enthusiastically, and shared their thoughts throughout the session. The volunteers also motivated the children to practice these habits regularly both at home and in school. The programme concluded with the distribution of stationery items among the students as a token of encouragement, followed by warm interactions and a group photograph session.

Outcome of the Activity:
The programme successfully enhanced awareness regarding hygiene, discipline, and healthy daily practices among the students. The interactive discussions and audio-visual presentations made the learning experience enjoyable and effective. The enthusiastic participation of the children reflected the positive impact of the initiative and reinforced the importance of adopting healthy habits from an early age.
